Dear South Harbor Family,
Hello my name is Chris Thompson and I am the new Youth Pastor here at South Harbor. I just want to take a minute to introduce myself to you and let you know what I am all about.
I am 21 years old and am currently enrolled at Grace Bible College going for a degree in both Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry with the hope of graduating in 2 years. I am apart of a family of five which includes my parents and my brother and sister. I have lived in Hudsonville, MI my whole life except for when I am at school then I live in Wyoming.
I have many interests that include Sports, Reading, Writing, and anything Outdoors. I played soccer for 16 years of my life, and loved every minute of it. I journal a lot about what I read, and just about life in general. It is a good way for me to go back and look at the way God has worked in my life. Also, the Outdoors has always intrigued me and I love to fish and hunt although I have not done a lot of either because of school.
This year is going to be very exciting as we are starting up the youth program, and are going to continue doing the work of God with the Holy Spirit guiding us through everything that we do.
