KIDS HOPE builds relationships....

ONE CHILD.

ONE HOUR.

ONE CHURCH.

ONE SCHOOL.

South Harbor is committed to changing lives by assisting Brown Elementary to meet the emotional, social and academic needs of ONE CHILD at a time.   A carefully trained mentor spends ONE HOUR a week developing a loving relationship with a child while a prayer partner wraps their relationship in prayer. We pair one adult mentor, with one pray prayer partner, with one student in grades pre-k through 4th grade. The trained mentor meets with that student one time a week for one hour for the school year.

South Harbor Church has started a new partnership with Brown Elementary in Byron Center Public Schools. Some students need an extra hand with homework. Some need to bond with an adult they can feel safe with. All students are unique in why they are a part of our program.

A student can become part of Kids Hope USA by being referred by their family or the school. Major changes have been seen in students in both their academics and social behaviors.

We are always looking for mentors, prayer partners, and substitutes! For more information, contact Kristin Bazuin, our Kids Hope Director.
