Each week we provide food for children who need it for the weekend through our Hand2Hand backpack ministry in the Byron Center Area at Marshall Elementary School and Brown Elementary School.  Hand2Hand Ministries is a resource for children facing hunger over the weekend by providing healthy food so they have a greater opportunity to succeed academically, emotionally, and physically. This is done simply by providing a backpack with food on Fridays in the child's locker for them to take home. Most commonly, one church partners with one local school to provide help to the students in need.
